Founded in 1932, the National Federation of Hemp Producers (FNPC) is dedicated to the agricultural development of hemp in France and Europe. It creates varieties for traditional uses (biomass, paper, etc.) and future applications (construction, bio-plastics, food, etc.). The FNPC analyzes and guides structural decisions in the upstream agricultural sector, particularly following the CAP.
The UTC is an association under the 1901 law created in 2003 at the initiative of industry stakeholders. The UTC brings together French hemp industrialists within three colleges: straw, seed, and seedling. The statutes evolved in 2023 to increase its representativeness.
